American Health Centers, Inc. was established in 1987 to acquire and manage state-of-the-art technology health care modalities, particularly MRI, CT and Nuclear Medicine services.

In February of 1994, AHCI acquired St. Anthony's Enterprises, Inc. Mobile Diagnostic Operation, and became headquartered in Bedford, New Hampshire. St. Anthony's had "set the pace" for other providers by successfully operating the first Mobile Picker .5 HP Tesla Active Shield MRI Unit in New Hampshire and today American Health Centers, Inc. continues to keep abreast of the technological changes in today's healthcare environment by adding newer technology to our fleet, which currently consists of the following products servicing 17 facilities:

In addition to our MRI units operating in New Hampshire, Vermont and Massachusetts, we currently operate a fixed-base MRI Services in Bangor, Maine. And, as new consortiums develop, we will work together with health care facilities to evaluate and acquire the equipment and expertise needed to remain on the cutting edge of the industry.

New projects currently being developed are open MRI Services, Mobile Pet Imaging Services,  and Fixed Based Diagnostic Imaging Centers, as well as providing interim rental services either on a short or long –term basis.
